Scholarship
Music On Stage presents up to two $750 scholarships to area college or college-bound students
in order to further their education or training in musical theater. Please read the following information carefully to see
if you are eligible.
Eligibility Criteria Requirements
· Each candidate must currently be accepted to and planning to enroll in a college, university, or other institution for the
purpose of furthering his or her education onstage or offstage in musical theater.
· The student's area of focus in college must be Musical Theatre or Technical Support for the Performing Arts.
· The candidate must have a current grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
· Preference will be given to applicants who have participated in Music On Stage productions. Participation includes either
or both on-stage and off-stage activities.
· Preference will be given to applicants who have shown a high degree of involvement in the performing arts throughout their
high school/college career. This includes both school and community events/productions/activities.
· Each candidate must complete the application form and submit it to the MOS Board of Director's Scholarship Committee on

A three-member panel appointed by the Chair of the Music On Stage Board of Directors will evaluate applications. The
deadline for receipt of applications and supporting materials is May 31st. Incomplete applications will not
be considered. The final decision will be announced no later than June 15th each year.
